SOAP AS FASHION, issue #6a

TL; DR
The powder sunscreen I love is currently on (rare) sale for 20% off through 8/11 on the Colorescience website (discount automatic), or through 8/8 at Dermstore (use code COLOR20 at checkout).
Dear Reader,
First off, thank you to all of you who have expressed interest and excitement after my last issue. Though the launch of the new collection is taking longer than I’d like, good things often take time and I can’t wait to share with you when it’s ready.
Back in March (how is it August?!), I introduced “bubble breaks” for my shorter newsletter issues that are focused on one quick idea and/or a short list of shopping items. Today’s bubble is to let you know that the powder sunscreen I raved about this past spring, aka the best way to reapply sunscreen when out and about, and still LOVE and use ALL the time is currently on a rare sale for 20% off through this Sunday 8/11.
I bought the 3-pack last time (the most economical per unit option), and I keep one in my purse at all times and the others in my bathroom. If I wasn’t carrying my same large tote with lots of toddler things (sunscreen included) almost all the time, I would probably keep a 3rd one in my car.
If you spend $150+ you also get a free full-size gift of their no-show mineral liquid sunscreen which I have and love so much, especially for my daughter and husband (I usually prefer a tinted mineral one for my own face) because it actually blends in!! We use mineral sunscreen almost exclusively and there have been many times in the past when my 2 most frequent beach companions (B & E)* may have been mistaken for ghosts lol, but since we switched to this one, no more!
I hope you’re savoring every last bit of this lingering summer.**
Xoxo,
Cher

**Throwback to these recipes for watermelon salsa and margaritas (or mocktails) that are perfectly in season.
