F&M Celebrates Our 2 Year Anniversary

by Cheryl Fork
Cheryl & Bryan Fork, owners of Fork & Melon

Today marks our 2 year anniversary! Two years ago on this date (11/30), the Fork & Melon website officially switched on and started taking orders.

Our tiny company and I couldn’t be more grateful for your support, that has allowed us to push forward through the many ups and downs so far. Between the challenges of building a new business, to the challenges we've all been experiencing collectively with the reality that is 2020, there have certainly been many ups and downs.

To each and every individual customer, to all of our partners (retail, manufacturing, vendor, and otherwise), to all of you who have cheered us on and supported us in so many ways I say...THANK YOU!!! And thank you so much to my husband (pictured) who is always my biggest supporter.

If you've been following us for a while, you know the idea for F&M came about during a time of grief and surrender in my life involving infertility/miscarriages (which is on-going) and being laid off from my corporate job. I was looking for a hand soap that was made with clean, non-toxic ingredients (to help with fertility), one that was in a pretty bottle and good for skin, and one that wasn't as pricey/fussy as some of the existing luxury hand soaps. And knowing that soap is a reoccurring purchase, I also wanted to support a company that was trying to do some good. When I couldn't find what I was looking for, I went on a long research journey and ended up learning about the wide-ranging benefits of watermelon seed oil for all skin types along the way. Eventually the first Fork & Melon products were born.

From bigger decisions like choosing healthy, non-toxic formulas, opting for more sustainable packaging and less wastefulness, building a female-founded company that can eventually offer more opportunity to others, donating and giving back where we can - to smaller decisions like opting out of marketing via text message (does anyone want that?) - I'm trying to build a company that keeps "what actually matters" at the forefront.

Our on-going goal at F&M is to bring clean luxury to your everyday routine without making it complicated. To bring more ease & delight into our overly-complicated lives. SIMPLE. CLEAN. CHIC.⠀

Where you choose to spend your dollar matters, and we're grateful when you choose to spend it with us.

Wishing you health, happiness, and love this holiday season.

Xoxo,
Cher

p.s. In addition to our clean luxury hand/body care, don't forget to check out our gift shop for unique finds in limited supply for your holiday shopping this season. #shopsmall

**This photo of my husband and me was taken in Tucson, AZ when we were on a brief road trip a few months back. Wet hair no makeup look - a rare time we actually took a photo this year. Cheers!
